At Bridges to Beauty, we offer Motiva® breast implants as a modern silicone implant option designed to feel soft, move naturally, and demonstrate very significantly lower rates of severe capsular contracture in available clinical studies.  (This was a 3-year study.  Longer periods of time are not available.)

Motiva implants represent a newer generation of implant technology focused on safety, comfort, and natural aesthetics.

Key Benefits Patients Care About

Softer, More Natural Feel and Movement

Motiva implants use an advanced silicone gel designed to balance softness with gentle shape support. This allows the breast to feel more natural to the touch and move more like natural breast tissue.

While long-term data is still being collected, early clinical data (up to 3 years) shows a significant reduction in severe capsular contracture rates compared to traditional implants.

Capsular contracture occurs when the body’s scar tissue tightens around the implant. This can cause:

  • Increased firmness
  • Changes in breast shape
  • Discomfort or pain

Motiva® Implant Model Options

Motiva® Round

Motiva Round implants maintain their shape in all positions and provide:

  • Increased upper-pole fullness
  • A rounder, more augmented appearance

Best suited for patients who desire visible cleavage and upper-breast fullness.

Motiva® Ergonomix®

Motiva Ergonomix® implants are designed to adapt naturally with gravity and movement.

Advantages include:

  • A softer upper-breast slope
  • Natural shape changes when standing or lying down

Ideal for patients seeking a natural look and movement rather than a prominently round upper breast.

Projection Options: Mini, Demi, and Full

(How far the breast projects forward)

Motiva implants are available in multiple projection profiles to customize results:

  • Mini (Low Projection):
Subtle enhancement with a lower-profile appearance
  • Demi (Moderate Projection):
    A balanced, commonly selected option
  • Full (High Projection):
Greater forward projection for a more dramatic aesthetic change

At Bridges to Beauty, implant projection is selected based on your anatomy, chest width, tissue thickness, and personal aesthetic goals.

FAQ

Will Motiva implants prevent capsular contracture?

No implant can guarantee zero capsular contracture. But in the FDA clinical study for Motiva implants, severe capsular contracture (Baker III/IV) at 3 years was 0.5% for primary augmentation.

What does “Baker Grade III/IV” mean?

It’s a severity scale. Higher grades generally mean more firmness, shape distortion, and sometimes discomfort that may require surgery.

Which model is “best”?
Neither is universally best.

  • Choose Round for more upper fullness.

Choose Ergonomix for a softer, more natural slope and movement.

Dr. Bridges at Bridges to Beauty will help guide this decision based on your anatomy, lifestyle, and cosmetic goals.
