Step 1: Consultation
At your BELOTERO BALANCE® consultation, you will be able to explain your facial concerns and desires to your injectable provider, and they will have the opportunity to evaluate your condition to determine if BELOTERO BALANCE® is the right treatment option for you. Once this happens, your treatment session will be scheduled.

Step 2: Session
While not necessary, many patients choose to have a topical numbing cream applied to their treatment area before the injection treatment. Your provider will then inject the BELOTERO BALANCE® solution carefully into the treatment area (the soft tissue).
The active ingredient in BELOTERO BALANCE® is hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a natural substance found in the skin. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers work by attracting and retaining moisture in the skin to literally fill in the areas where collagen and elastin loss have led to volume loss.
The treatment session generally takes under 30 minutes to complete.

Step 3: Additional Sessions
Like many aspects of cosmetic treatments, the suggested number of treatment sessions varies with each individual patient. Some of the factors that affect the number of sessions needed include the severity of correction needed and the number of locations being treated. However, many patients only require one treatment session to attain their desired results.
Because injectable results are not permanent, many patients return for additional injections once their results have diminished.

Pain
There is very minimal, if any, pain associated with BELOTERO BALANCE®, especially if you choose to have the topical anesthetic applied before your injection.
Scars
