Step 2: Treatment Session
Before your JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC injection treatment, a topical numbing cream will be applied to your cheeks. Once the topical ointment begins to work (15 to 20 minutes), your provider will inject the JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC solution into various pre-marked locations on your cheeks. Most patients require one to two syringes of the solution to achieve optimal results. Unlike other dermal fillers, JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC injections are made deep within the dermis, just above your facial bones, to treat the issue at its source.
